Train coders in the proper use of the latest updates of coding guidelines and conventions.
Improve the accuracy and efficiency of coding practices.
Familiarize coders with the most recent code sets, including ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS.
Provide training and support to help coders achieve and maintain coding targets.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to ensure goals are met.
Program Outcomes:
Proficiency in assigning diagnosis and procedure codes.
Improve the quality and consistency of clinical documentation (CDI).
Up-to-Date knowledge with the latest updates and revisions in coding guidelines.
Foster teamwork and collaboration among coders to share knowledge and experiences.
Training Duration:
The project is scheduled to run for a period of 1-3 month.
Training hours will be from 8AM to 4PM, 5 days a week.
Training Process:
Trainee is required to code 5 files per day, total of 25 files per week and 100 files per month.
The training will focus on a multiple clinical specialty.
Coded data will be audited by the trainers on a daily basis.
A revision session will be conducted for trainees to address any questions and improvements, ensuring the quality of the training.
