Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Billing Officer to join our healthcare organization based in Riyadh, KSA. This role involves managing all aspects of patient billing, including patient invoices, and account follow-ups. Your deep understanding of healthcare billing procedures and medical terminology will ensure the smooth operation of our financial matters, contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and efficient invoicing of all services rendered by our organization.
  • Generate patient invoices, ensuring accurate reflection of services provided and adherence to insurance policy requirements.
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts and invoices to ensure prompt payment.
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing, helping them understand charges and payment obligations.
  • Work closely with medical staff to understand the treatments administered and accurately represent them on invoices.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters related to patient accounts and billing information.
  • Keep track of all transactions and submit reports to management as needed.
  • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in a healthcare billing role and be well-versed in medical terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, and Excel, is necessary. Additionally, strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are required, as well as fluency in both Arabic and English. This role requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in a related field
  • Experience of minimum 1 year in the same field.
  • Have knowledge in the healthcare sector.
    -Oriented with medical terminology.
  • Microsoft Office Word & Excel proficiency.
  • Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic & English.
